Software / Payments, commissions and trust

Money in and money out, on the record.

Bookings and plans are paid through Stripe. Brokerages run commissions, agent statements and the trust account in the same system, and vendors are paid without invoices.

What it replaces.

The separate tools, threads and handoffs this part of Bricks takes over.

How it works.

  1. Pay at booking

Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay at checkout, with the final price shown before you pay.

  2. Manage billing

Plans, seats, cards and invoices are handled from Billing, which opens your Stripe billing portal.

  3. Set commission plans

Brokerages define commission structures with an effective date. Records appear as deals close, ready to approve and mark paid.

  4. Keep the trust account

Commissions, agent splits and the trust ledger, in the Finance section of a brokerage account.

The details.

No stored card numbers
Stripe holds card details. Bricks may keep the brand, last four digits and payment status.
Vendors paid automatically
Each completed job pays the photographer a fixed rate through Stripe Connect.
Agent statements
Commission records by agent and by period.
Prices before tax
Every price is in CAD, before tax. Tax is added at checkout.

Stripe payments work on every account. Commission plans, agent statements and trust accounting are part of brokerage accounts. See pricing.

No. It’s included with brokerage accounts only.

From Billing in the app, which opens your Stripe billing portal.

Can I pay monthly?

Yes. Pay monthly, or yearly and get two months free. Brokerage seats can also be monthly, with no lock-in.
